Adventure Motorcycle Tour Through Western Australia from Perth
Set off on a 10-day motorcycle adventure across Western Australia, combining spectacular coastal roads with remote outback tracks. Starting from Perth, you’ll discover the surreal rock formations of Pinnacles Desert before riding south towards the historic town of York. The journey then continues to the extraordinary Wave Rock, a giant granite wave frozen in time, before taking on the remote Skeleton Road towards Kalgoorlie, the legendary town born from the Australian gold rush.
Feel the freedom of the open road and the rhythm of Australia’s vast landscapes.
The adventure continues towards the paradise beaches of Esperance, then to the peaceful coastal escape of Bremer Bay. Follow the spectacular southern coastline towards majestic Albany and the giant forests surrounding Walpole before heading north to the famous wine region of Margaret River. A final stage brings you back to Perth, ending an unforgettable motorcycle journey through the wild beauty of Western Australia.

Day 1
Departure on your international flight to Perth and its laid-back atmosphere, typical of Australia.

Day 2 : Perth/York - 450 km
Your adventure begins in Perth, where you’ll collect your motorcycles before heading north along the scenic Indian Ocean Drive towards Nambung National Park, home to the mysterious Pinnacles Desert. As the coastal road unfolds, the landscapes gradually transform into vast desert scenery. In the Pinnacles Desert, you’ll discover a surreal, almost lunar landscape where thousands of limestone formations rise from the golden sand.
The route then turns inland towards York, the oldest colonial town in Western Australia. The scenery changes dramatically once again as you enter the Australian outback. York welcomes you with its beautifully preserved Victorian architecture and historic atmosphere, offering a first real taste of remote Australia.

Day 3 : York/Hyden - 240 km
Your day begins on the rolling roads crossing the golden fields of the Wheatbelt. Passing through small country towns such as Dumbleyung and Corrigin, you’ll experience the authentic atmosphere of the Australian bush, dotted with isolated farms and ancient eucalyptus trees. The ride towards Hyden reveals a constantly changing landscape of farmland and native bush, where Kangaroos are often spotted during the cooler hours of the day.
You’ll then arrive at the extraordinary Wave Rock, a giant petrified wave rising 15 metres high and stretching 110 metres long, sculpted naturally over more than 60 million years. Nearby, don’t miss the impressive Hippo's Yawn, another remarkable rock formation, as well as the panoramic views from the top of Wave Rock itself. The late afternoon light creates the perfect conditions for photographing this unique natural wonder.

Day 4 : Hyden/Kalgoorlie - 362 km
Today, ride towards the legendary Woolgangie-Skeleton Rock Road, an iconic outback track leading all the way to Kalgoorlie. This remote unsealed road winds through vast red-earth landscapes dotted with abandoned telegraph stations and isolated outback scenery. The evocative place names along the route still reflect the stories of Australia’s early pioneers. Demanding at times, this ride offers a true immersion into the raw and authentic spirit of the Australian Outback.
Upon arrival in Kalgoorlie, discover the famous Super Pit, one of the largest open-pit gold mines in the world, especially spectacular at sunset. Later, relax in the historic pubs along Hannan Street, the legendary heart of this former gold rush town.

Day 5 : Kalgoorlie/Esperance - 400 km
Follow the road towards Norseman through vast semi-desert landscapes typical of the Australian outback. Once in Norseman, a historic town born during the gold rush era, you’ll head south towards Esperance. As you approach the coastline, the contrast becomes spectacular: the deep red tones of the outback suddenly give way to the intense blue waters of the ocean.
Esperance welcomes you with some of the most breathtaking beaches in Australia. In Cape Le Grand National Park, discover pristine white-sand beaches bordered by crystal-clear turquoise waters.The famous Lucky Bay, often considered one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, offers an absolutely idyllic setting.

Day 6 : Esperance/Breemer Bay - 400 km
Today, head towards Bremer Bay, with a spectacular coastal ride awaiting you along the way. The route winds along the shoreline through wild and untouched landscapes, revealing the incredible beauty of Fitzgerald River National Park, one of the most biodiverse national parks in Australia. Depending on the season, colourful wildflowers transform the surrounding bush into a vibrant natural display.
A succession of flowing curves and technical sections gradually leads you to Bremer Bay, a peaceful hidden paradise nestled beside emerald waters. This remote coastal haven is renowned for its deserted beaches, wild scenery and relaxed atmosphere. The day ends in one of the most untouched corners of Western Australia.

Day 7 : Breemer Bay/Walepole - 348 km
Today’s route heads west along the spectacular southern coastline towards historic Albany, the first colonial settlement in Western Australia. Take time to discover its impressive natural harbour and the dramatic The Gap, where powerful waves crash into the granite cliffs below.
Continuing towards Walpole, the scenery transforms completely as you enter the giant forests of south-western Australia. The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the famous Valley of the Giants, where you can walk high above the forest floor on the spectacular Tree Top Walk. Suspended around 40 metres above the ground, this canopy walkway offers a unique perspective over the majestic tingle trees, ancient giant eucalyptus trees found nowhere else in the world. Some reach astonishing diameters of up to 20 metres at their base.
This is also the perfect opportunity to spot your first Kangaroos, if you haven’t already. We’ll share our favourite spots and insider tips to maximise your chances of seeing entire groups in the wild.

Day 8 : Walepole/Margaret River - 250 km
On the way to Margaret River, discover one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions, where vineyards stretch between the ocean and the bush. Don’t miss Cape Leeuwin, the south-westernmost point of the Australian continent, where its historic lighthouse overlooks the meeting of the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean.
The Margaret River region is a true paradise for wine lovers. Many wineries welcome visitors for tastings of their exceptional Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, often in stunning estates overlooking the surrounding vineyards. Passionate winemakers proudly share their expertise and the unique character of this remarkable terroir.

Day 9 : Margaret River
After leaving Margaret River behind, a spectacular coastal ride awaits as you head north along the shores of the Indian Ocean. The road winds between renowned vineyards and dramatic ocean scenery, revealing breathtaking views over wild beaches and rugged coastline. A stop at Injidup Beach offers the chance to discover one of the region’s most beautiful coves, where powerful waves attract surfers from across the country.
Arriving in Dunsborough marks your entrance into the beautiful Geographe Bay, where the scenery becomes calmer and more peaceful. This is also the perfect place to enjoy a whale-watching excursion by boat during the migration season.
Don’t miss a stop in Busselton to admire the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, stretching 1.8 kilometres into turquoise waters. Built more than 150 years ago, it even features an underwater observatory at its far end. From there, all that remains is the final ride back to Perth.

Return your motorcycle and head to the airport with, we hope, unforgettable memories and incredible roads still fresh in your mind.
