By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Antsirabe, a charming spa town located more than 1,600 metres above sea level. Often referred to as the "Malagasy Vichy", the town is famous for its thermal springs and pleasant highland climate.

At sunrise, you'll leave the spa town of Antsirabe behind and ride towards the mysterious Lake Tritriva, a spectacular volcanic crater lake renowned for its crystal-clear waters, ancient legends, and sacred *fady* (local taboos).

From there, the adventure continues far off the beaten track along forgotten trails that wind through the wild landscapes of Madagascar's Central Highlands. By the end of the day, you'll reach Ambatofinandrahana, a small rural town nestled at the foot of the majestic Itremo Massif, the gateway to the spectacular mountain scenery that lies ahead.

This morning, you'll set off by traditional wooden pirogue to Betania Island, where the iconic boutre, Madagascar's traditional sailing boats, are still handcrafted using ancestral techniques. Enjoy a delicious beachfront lunch featuring freshly caught fish and seafood before visiting the Kimony Reserve, where you'll have the chance to encounter Madagascar's playful lemurs up close.

The route then leads through the wild landscapes of the Malagasy bush, where majestic baobab trees dot the horizon, before reaching the striking salt lake of Belo. After crossing its shimmering salt flats, you'll follow a remote off-road trail to the authentic town of Manja, deep in one of Madagascar's most unspoiled regions.

The surrounding savannah is dotted with magnificent centuries-old baobab trees, standing as silent guardians of Madagascar's wild landscapes.
