Along the way, you’ll also have time to explore this captivating region’s rich heritage, with visits to magnificent forts, remarkable palaces and ancient temples, tailored to the group’s interests. The Aravalli Range, the backbone of Rajasthan, reveals breathtaking natural landscapes, diverse wildlife, shimmering lakes, rocky hills and vibrant rural villages.
From the silence of the desert tracks to the splendour of the Maharajas’ palaces, Rajasthan reveals its true character.
Regular chai breaks in traditional villages offer an authentic glimpse into local life, including visits to a Jain temple and a historic noria , a traditional water-lifting system that has shaped rural Rajasthan for centuries. Throughout the journey, you’ll stay in carefully selected heritage hotels and elegant properties, enjoy refined local cuisine, and unwind with excellent facilities including swimming pools and wellness areas. After discovering Mandawa, the cultural heart of the Shekhawati region, renowned for its magnificent painted havelis, the adventure continues to Jaisalmer, the legendary Golden City, where you’ll explore its extraordinary fort before spending an unforgettable night beneath the stars in the Thar Desert.
The journey then leads through Rajasthan’s great imperial cities, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur, before ending in Agra with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
