Here is the itinerary we designed day by day

1

Day 1

Departure on your international flight to Perth and its laid-back atmosphere, typical of Australia.

Meals and overnight stay on board.

2

Day 2 : Perth/Wave Rock - 360 km

Your Australian adventure begins in Perth. After a restful night to recover from the jet lag, your first mission will be to pick up your 4x4 before heading east towards the small town of Hyden. There, you’ll discover the impressive Wave Rock, a unique natural rock formation shaped like a giant breaking wave. Sculpted by erosion over more than 60 million years, this geological wonder rises 15 metres high and stretches over 110 metres long, creating a spectacular sight in the heart of the Australian bush.

Overnight stay at the campsite.

3

Day 3 : Wave Rock/Norseman - 305 km

Today marks one of the most memorable stages of your journey. You’ll take on the legendary outback track linking Hyden to Norseman, an unforgettable route through the heart of authentic Australia.

This iconic track crosses vast and remote landscapes where the deep red earth contrasts beautifully with the surrounding bush. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience a true off-road adventure far from the usual tourist routes, where every kilometre brings you closer to the raw spirit of the Australian Outback. Note that the track may become inaccessible after heavy rainfall.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

4

Day 4 : Norseman/Espérance - 203 km

Arriving in Esperance feels like reaching a true paradise after your outback adventure. This region is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in Australia, with turquoise waters, dazzling white sand and endless coastal scenery. The atmosphere here is quintessentially Australian: surfers in wetsuits searching for the perfect wave at sunrise, 4x4s parked directly on the sand with surfboards strapped to the roof, while others simply relax and enjoy the view from the beach.

A series of scenic viewpoints accessible by car allows you to admire this incredible coastline from different perspectives. This seaside stop is the perfect reward after the long hours spent crossing the remote tracks of the Outback.

Overnight stay at the campsite.

5

Day 5 : Espérane/Hopetoun - 190 km

Leaving Esperance, you’ll follow Springdale Road for a shorter but equally charming stage of the journey. This scenic drive leads to the peaceful coastal town of Hopetoun, an ideal stop before continuing towards Albany. This relaxing break gives you the opportunity to recharge while discovering another beautiful side of the Western Australian coastline.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

6

Day 6 : Hopetoun/Albany - 340 km

Albany, a former whaling town nestled along the southern coast of Western Australia, will charm you with its rich history and maritime atmosphere. Its streets lined with colonial-era buildings reflect the story of the first settlers, while the natural harbour is a reminder of the town’s important seafaring past.

To reach your next discoveries, follow the scenic Hamersley Drive, offering spectacular coastal views along the ocean. The road leads towards Frenchman Bay, where Goode Beach provides a peaceful escape away from the crowds, perfect for swimming or simply relaxing by the sea. You’ll also explore Torndirrup National Park, one of the region’s true natural gems, famous for its dramatic cliffs sculpted by the elements and the powerful waves crashing against the rugged coastline.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

7

Day 7 : Albany/Walepole - 120 km2

Leave behind the maritime atmosphere of Albany and immerse yourself in the lush natural world of Walpole, a region where nature truly reveals its full beauty. The famous Valley of the Giants offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of an ancient forest. The spectacular Tree Top Walk lifts you 40 metres above the ground for a unique immersion into the canopy of the majestic tingle trees. These gigantic ancient trees, found only in this part of the world, are truly awe-inspiring.

Back on the forest floor, the Ancient Empire Walk allows you to fully appreciate the immense size and fascinating shapes of their massive trunks.

This is also the perfect opportunity to spot your very first Kangaroo, if you haven’t already. We’ll share our best locations and insider tips to maximise your chances of seeing entire groups in the wild.

Overnight stay at the campsite.

8

Day 8 : Walepole/Margaret River - 250 km

On the way to Margaret River, discover one of Australia’s most renowned wine regions, where vineyards stretch endlessly between the ocean and the bush. A detour to Cape Leeuwin, the south-westernmost point of the Australian continent, offers a spectacular sight. Its historic lighthouse stands proudly where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean, surrounded by rugged coastal vegetation shaped by powerful sea winds.

The Margaret River region is a true paradise for wine lovers, famous for its exceptional vineyards and spectacular scenery. Many wineries open their doors for tastings, where you can discover outstanding local wines, particularly the Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon that have made the region internationally renowned. Passionate winemakers are always eager to share their expertise, often in beautiful estates overlooking the surrounding vineyards.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

9

Day 9 : Margaret River/Dunsborough - 48 km

Leaving Margaret River behind, follow the coastal road towards Dunsborough for what promises to be a truly memorable drive. This scenic route winds along the ocean, revealing one stunning beach after another. Our personal favourite is Injidup Beach, the perfect spot to admire the sunset. With the Australian sun setting around 6–7 pm depending on the season, you’ll have plenty of time to stop, enjoy the scenery and capture unforgettable photos before reaching your accommodation in Dunsborough.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

10

Day 10 : Dunsborough/Perth - 244 km

For your final day, treat yourself to an unforgettable marine experience: whale watching along the coast of Western Australia between mid-August and early November. From the boat, admire the majestic spectacle of Humpback Whale and Southern Right Whale resting in these warmer waters, sometimes performing spectacular jumps and tail slaps.

Don’t miss the famous Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Stretching nearly two kilometres into the Indian Ocean, this iconic landmark can be explored on foot or aboard its charming little train. Then enjoy a relaxed drive back towards Perth and end your adventure with a visit to Kings Park. Its beautiful botanical gardens and panoramic walking trails offer one final spectacular view over the city skyline and the winding Swan River.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

11

Day 11 : Perth

Return your 4x4 and head to the airport with, we hope, unforgettable memories and incredible adventures still fresh in your mind.
